To provide support to policy and programme activities that effectively meet the Cooperating Partner Managements This position is based in [ Kosti] and reports to [Head of Programme ,Kosti]. THE ROLE To provide support to policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, within delegated authority): - Provide AOs with technical and operational support on the implementation of WFP’s Corporate NGO Guidance, which includes Call for Proposals, selection processes, partner induction, performance monitoring, using the UN Partnership Portal, and so forth. - Lead the FLA management-related tasks to ensure all the Agreements are prepared correctly and in line with the SOPs. - Ensuring timely creation of FLAs in WINGS and quality distribution reports and relevant invoices are submitted timely for the reconciliation against deliveries and payments process. - Tracking the progress of the FLAs in terms of consumptions and alerting technical units (AM/Officers) for expected FLA amendments and adjustments. - Coordinate information and reports on partnerships for program and management briefings, taking points reports and ACR. - Provide guidance on Field Level Agreement (FLA) management, including budget negotiations, data entry, distribution reports, and invoice management, as well as technical partnership agreements at AO levels. - Provide training/webinars/information sessions and other knowledge management and learning opportunities for AO staff involved in the management of partnerships, as required, and equip them to be able to deliver training to CPs. - Identify, synthesize, and collate best practices and lessons learned to promote knowledge development and sharing on effective CP management and risks mitigation measures across the region. - Ensure standardization of templates, formats, reporting structure, and cost allocations.
