This position will oversee the Financial Operations Service of the CAP at UN headquarters. The Chief, Financial Operations Service will report to the Director of Administration in DOS.
Responsibilities Within delegated authority, the Chief of Service (Financial Operations Service) will oversee the global payroll (onePayroll) function, accounts payable, the income tax unit, the commercial insurance section as well as the financial monitoring and financial agreement desk of the oneEO.
The incumbent will ensure that programmed activities are carried out in a timely fashion and co-ordinates work in the different desks both within the CAP and others as appropriate while also fulfilling an important global function.
